Main Classification of Self-adhesive Label Paper

Non-stick label paper is mainly divided into the following categories:

1. Paper adhesive labels

‐ Coated paper: features a smooth and fine surface with strong color reproduction capability, ideal for information labels on pharmaceuticals, food, beverages, electrical appliances, and other products.

‐ Mirror finish coated paper: High gloss, commonly used for labels of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and high-end gifts with stringent aesthetic requirements.

‐ Kraft paper: featuring a vintage texture, it is stretch-resistant and wear-resistant, making it ideal for packaging industrial products, express parcels, and agricultural goods.

‐ Writing Paper: Soft and highly absorbent, ideal for handwritten or printed temporary labels, notes, and file categorization.

‐ Aluminum foil paper: a paperless or film-based substrate that resists environmental degradation after application, suitable for high-end information labels in pharmaceuticals, food, and other industries.

‐ Flake paper: The label paper is broken and cannot be reused after peeling, commonly used for anti-counterfeiting seals, such as mobile phones, computer accessories, and pharmaceuticals.

‐ Thermosensitive paper: Displays color when heated, ideal for supermarket price tags, cash register receipts, and logistics transportation labels.

2. Film adhesive label

‐ PE (polyethylene): Soft in texture, with good resistance to water, oil, and chemicals, commonly used for packaging labels of bathroom products, cosmetics, plastic bottles, etc.

‐ PP (polypropylene): With excellent heat resistance and strong resistance to water, oil, and chemicals, it is ideal for thermal transfer printing and commonly used in labels for chemical products and plastic containers.

‐ PET (polyethylene terephthalate): High transparency, excellent temperature resistance, and strong mechanical properties, making it ideal for high-end labels in industries such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.

‐ PVC (polyvinyl chloride): Water and moisture resistant with excellent adhesive properties, commonly used in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and outdoor advertising signage, though it has poor thermal stability and light resistance.

‐ PVC shrink film: A specialized label for products like batteries and pipes, which shrinks and secures after application.

3. Special Material Non-Stick Labels

‐ Laser film: Features dynamic rainbow effects and 3D stereoscopic appearance, with strong anti-counterfeiting properties. It is commonly used in high-end tobacco, alcohol, cosmetics, and other products requiring stringent anti-counterfeiting and aesthetic standards.

‐ Glossy brushed gold/silver: Features a brushed surface with water and oil resistance, high-temperature durability, ideal for electrical/electronic product labels or to elevate product prestige.

‐ Transparent self-adhesive: High transparency with minimal impact on the appearance of the object, ideal for glassware and electronic device screen protectors.

‐ Synthetic paper: Combining the advantages of paper and film, it exhibits excellent resistance to water, oil, and chemicals, and is commonly used for information labels on high-end products and eco-friendly items.

4. Functional adhesive label

‐ Removable adhesive: available in various materials, leaves no residue after peeling, suitable for temporary information labels on tableware, household appliances, fruits, etc.

‐ Washable adhesive: leaves no residue after washing, commonly used for beer, tableware and other product labels.

‐ Freeze-drying adhesive: Low-temperature resistant, suitable for frozen food packaging and cold chain logistics labels.

High-strength adhesive: quickly bonds to rough surfaces like corrugated paper and wood, commonly used for logistics carton labels.
